Northeast Pennsylvania is home to The Commonwealth Medical College, covering 17 counties and three regional campuses headquartered in Scranton, Wilkes-Barre and Williamsport.  Each of these campuses is an integral part of the College’s distributive model of medical education to provide students with experiences in diverse clinical settings.

Sports enthusiasts will welcome the Scranton Wilkes-Barre RailRiders, the Little League World Series Ballpark and Museum in Williamsport, winter sports with 24 ski and snowboarding resort areas, state and National parks for hiking and numerous rivers and streams for trout and bass fishing or white water rafting.

The North (Scranton) Campus includes Lackawanna, Wyoming, Wayne, Susquehanna, Monroe and Pike counties. There are beautiful historic downtown centers and varied community events – movies and concerts in the park, kid’s fest, church-wide picnics and numerous festivals.
